1977 - May 13, TORONTO 4 @ MINNESOTA 3

Al Woods had 3 base hits as the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Minnesota Twins in 10 innings 4 to 3 at Metropolitan Stadium.

The score was knotted at 3 after nine innings. Toronto won it in the 10th inning. Woods tripled. Roy Howell next to the plate and he was hit by a pitch. Two outs later Doug Ault stepped in and he was walked intentionally to load the bases. Alan Ashby stepped in and he reached on an error. Steve Bowling got his turn next, but he was a strikeout victim. Toronto had 10 hits for the night.

The victory was credited to Jerry Johnson(2-2) who went 1 and 1/3 innings, allowing no runs. Ron Schueler(3-1) suffered the loss in relief.
