Don Money hit a homerun and had 2 RBI at Exhibition Stadium as the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Toronto Blue Jays 9 to 4.
Moose Haas(11-9) delivered a fine performance for Milwaukee. He was reached for 7 hits and 4 walks in 8 and 1/3 innings. For the game Milwaukee out-hit Toronto 16 to 7.
Haas got help from Bob McClure who earned his 7th save. Jesse Jefferson(4-11)took the loss. He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 11 hits and 3 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.
'Ahhh, how sweet it is,' Alex Grammas sighed. 'That win feels like a tall, cool drink of water after spending far too much time in the desert lately.'
