In a two run game the Toronto Blue Jays got by the Texas Rangers by the score of 6 to 4.
Jesse Jefferson(3-8) had a solid outing for Toronto. He allowed 4 hits and 5 walks in 7 and 1/3 innings. Toronto had 8 hits for the afternoon while Texas had 5.
Jefferson got relief help from Jerry Johnson who gained credit for his 9th save. Roger Moret(0-2) suffered the loss. He allowed 8 hits and 5 walks in 6 and 2/3 innings.
