1977 - June 24, TORONTO 1 @ BALTIMORE 14

Rudy May allowed Earl Weaver to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game and center fielder Al Bumbry had 5 hits and 2 RBI at Memorial Stadium as the Baltimore Orioles embarrassed the Toronto Blue Jays by the lop sided score of 14 to 1.

Baltimore drew first blood jumping out to an early lead in the first inning scoring a single run utilizing 3 base hits. Baltimore had many opportunities throughout the game and scored in 6 separate innings.

May(7-7) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 1 run. Dave Lemanczyk(4-8) was the losing pitcher. He was touched for 11 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings.

The winning ways continue for Baltimore. They now have a record of 8-2 in recent days. Still in a bad slump, with this loss, Toronto is 2-8 lately and 22-44 on the year.
