Richie Zisk had 4 hits and 5 RBI and Chris Knapp completed the game with out help from the bullpen at Comiskey Park as the Chicago White Sox embarrassed the Toronto Blue Jays by the lopsided score of 12 to 2. Zisk enjoyed a big evening at the plate. He bombed a two-run dinger (his 3rd of the season) in the 1st inning, delivered a single in the 3rd inning, doubled scoring two baserunners in the 6th inning and delivered a one-base hit knocking in a run in the 7th inning. Chicago kept the pressure on throughout the contest as they scored in 6 different innings.
The victory went to Knapp(1-0) who went the distance allowing 2 runs. Steve Hargan(0-1) was tagged with the loss. He allowed Chicago 7 runs in 6 innings of work.
'I just got in the box, looked for a pitch and swung,' Zisk said. 'That's it'
