Roy Howell had 4 hits and scored 3 times as the Toronto Blue Jays topped the Seattle Mariners by a score of 7 to 4 at The Kingdome.
Toronto jumped on top to stay in the 6th inning plating an isolated run. Toronto had 12 hits for the night while Seattle had 8.
Dave Lemanczyk(4-5) allowed 4 runs in 7 innings, and picked up the victory. Lemanczyk got help from Jerry Johnson who earned his 7th save. John Montague(2-5) suffered the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 10 hits and 3 walks in 6 innings.
