In a tight game it was the Toronto Blue Jays 4, the Chicago White Sox 2 at Comiskey Park.
Jerry Garvin(9-6) pitched a solid game. He went 8 innings allowing 7 hits and 2 walks. Both teams ended up with 8 hits on the afternoon.
Pete Vuckovich earned the save, his 3rd. Ken Kravec(2-5) ended up with the loss. 'It felt really nice to get this win,' Garvin said. 'I kind of dictated the game. It's what I get paid to do. It worked out this time.'
