Dave McKay hit a homerun and had 2 RBI as the Toronto Blue Jays topped the Minnesota Twins by a score of 12 to 8 at Exhibition Stadium.
Toronto took the lead for good in the bottom of the 6th inning scoring 2 runners on 3 hits. Toronto had 14 hits for the afternoon.
Mike Willis(1-1) went 3 innings allowing no runs for the victory. PeteVuckovich recorded his 1st save. Tom Burgmeier(0-1) suffered the loss in relief. He was touched for 5 hits and 3 walks in 2 and 2/3 innings.
